The direction of SECURIMED want to share with you the importance of being the leaders in the application of the rules and standards in force in Quebec. This aspect has always been part of their philosophy in order to render services consistent and to well advise our customers and thus avoid problematic situations.

Pre-employment

In order to comply with the Human Rights Act, each of the questions on the medical form must be related to the job position.

Know that the argument of saying that we did not consider the answer because it was not related to the position, is not accepted by the court.

SECURIMED has created a specialized application that builds the questionnaires based on the risks and aptitudes needed for the positions.

Corporate Health Day

In order to comply with human rights law, the confidentiality of individuals must be respected. It must be taken into account that the company can not have the worker's personal files, but only the statistics of the group.

SECURIMED produces two types reports, a detailed one for each worker and a single report of statistics of the company.

 

Expertise, arbitration & hearing

 

In order to be compliant with the regulations that govern the contestation processes, it is necessary to be up to date on the laws.

Recently, the regulations have been changed so that the questions in an expert's opinion whether they are asked in the mandate or a separate document are an integral part of the expertise. This has the effect that the union side accesses this information at the same time as the employer party.

SECURIMED is able to follow the deadlines and make sure to take into account the particularities, such as sending documents to both parties in the arbitration case.
